A Magical Community Christmas at Park Rise

 

Residents, their families and friends, new buyers, and staff all came together for a truly heart warming Christmas celebration at Park Rise — an event that brought festive cheer to every corner of the development.

 

The highlight of the afternoon was a live performance from the Harrow Lodge Primary School Choir, with an incredible 45 children filling the air with beautiful Christmas music. Their performance moved many of our guests, perfectly capturing the true spirit of the season. Each child left with a special Christmas goody bag as a thank you for helping make the event so memorable. With the choir, teachers, residents, and visitors, the event welcomed around 80 attendees, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

 

Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of seasonal treats, including mince pies, chocolate Yule log, and warming (non alcoholic) mulled wine — all of which were thoroughly enjoyed. In the spirit of giving, the event also served as an opportunity to support local causes. Thanks to the generosity of our community, many new toys were donated to a Havering charity and later gifted to Queen’s Hospital, bringing joy to children spending their Christmas there.

 

A charity raffle also raised funds for the Lennox Children’s Charity, with the final total to be confirmed. We received wonderful feedback from both the school and our residents — staff and children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and our residents expressed how much they valued sharing the festive occasion with their neighbours.

 

The event truly showcased the warmth, kindness, and community spirit that make Park Rise such a special place to call home.
